About Us

The Northwest Kentucky Reentry Council is made up of the Green River Area Development District (Union, Henderson, Webster, McLean, Daviess, Ohio, and Hancock counties).

The council will be meeting in Owensboro. We would be very happy to have you attend. Just send us a message and we will let you know when the next meeting is.

Northwest Kentucky Reentry Council Goals

1) Advocate and educate the need for adequate transitional housing

2) Health Care - Identify resources or lack of resources and advocate or promote as needed for health care (Prescriptions, Medical, Dental, Vision, Mental Health)

3) Advocate and educate the community about substance abuse and support substance abuse programs.

4) Employment -

• Identify employers who will hire ex-offenders
• Develop employers who will hire ex-offenders through education and advocacy
